17 Aug Jonathan Byrd Week 1 with Video!
First let me apologize for lack of updates. I had a pretty bad case of the flu, and then the start of the school year (I am a teacher) is here so it has been pretty crazy. This was week 1 of a short raw squat cycle for me. The goal is to simply hit some decent numbers in the squat over the next few weeks and continue to work my upper back with block pulls. Here is what the week looked like
Bench
5×3@230 plus band
dropped the band and added 2board went 1×1@410 and 1×1@430 and called it there.
Squat/Dead Aux

Squat:

6inch block pulls

1×2@625
The goal for all the main lifts this week was not to break an RPE of 8. I was pleased with the squats as I felt I had a few more in me at 605. Hopefully this week I will add a few lbs to the squat and blocks. Body weight is still in the 270s, so now that the flu is gone, I can make some progress!
