Lab Rat – PowerBuilding Test Week – Round 2

I recently completed a 10/20/Life PowerBuilding Book Beta Test.  Coming off a PR performance at Redemption III in Ft. Myers, FL.  I decided it was time to get healthier and change the pace for a little.  May 28th I tipped the scale around 282lbs, currently I sit in the mid 250’s.

I completed my test week last week however I felt all the sets were a little too easy for an AMRAP.  I decided to repeat the test with more appropriate weights and see how far I could push the reps.  Everything moved much easier than expected, which is a great sign.  We’ve adjusted my diet some and I’m staying steady in the mid 250’s, the perfect starting point for an easy cut to 242.  Yes, a cut to 242.  I can’t stay off the platform forever.
