LCS 8 Weeks Out, Found my bench shirt

I’ve been slowly working my way down in shirt sizes.  I think I’ve hit on the one that’ll work.

There’s a small group of us that’ll be competing Oct 28th at the RPS Revenant Rising in Wilmington, NC.

As always, a big thanks to Inzer Advance Designs and Captain Jacked for their continued support of TeamPRS.

This week has been a blur. Sick kid = training out of whack.  We’ve had to really move things around and I’m very fortunate to have some amazing training partners to be able to make training work despite it all.  Them each with their own set of obstacles, but we managed to all get together to get it done.  Big thanks to the guys, as always.

Starting about 7 weeks ago, I started easing my way back into shirt work.  I started in an Inzer SDP size 58.

15 Weeks Out: 58 with max grip

14 Weeks Out: 56 with max grip

13 Weeks Out: deload

12 Weeks Out: 54 with moderate grip

11 Weeks Out: 54 with max grip

9 Weeks Out: deload

8 Weeks Out: 52 with moderate grip (current week)

I’m pretty sure this’ll be the shirt I use.  Without doing anything to it, I’m pretty sure I can touch something in it.  Jacked up, it’ll be really fun!  I’ll work out to a max grip next week trying to get something to a one board.

Ended up:

505×2; 1 rep to a 3board and 1 rep to a 2board

535×2 x2 sets to a 2board

Reverse band bench with moderate grip and moved up to a 54 shirt:

615×2 x2sets (both of these sets were supposed to be 3 reps but I kept misgrooving it and losing it at the top)

615×3 (finally got my head out of ass and got it done)

Finished with a little more volume with some dips, incline db presses and triceps.  Damn good day thanks to all the help from the guys.
