16 May LCS deload, 4 weeks out
There are 3 meets that members of Lowcountry Strength are currently training for. APF Equipped Nationals on May 29th, RPS Backyard Brawl, June 4th, and RPS Kalamazoo Barbell Bash June 11th. If you follow along, training for the group is posted but understand that I make adjustments on a daily basis for individuals and those specifically training for meets. Since we follow the 10/20/Life protocol, each individual of LCS is given their own weak point training if it does not correspond to that posted.
Wrapping the deload. Coming up on my favorite weeks of pre-contest stuff. I love lifting heavy in the gear. It’s why I’m still powerlifting after 10 years. I love it. Feeling rested and ready to get after it this week.
Deloads are often under utilized by most. Great way to let the body acclimate to the training and still dial in technique.
Time to get after it! Time is ticking.
