LCS Offseason Week 3, Session 2

Doing work in the Inzer Leviathan Ultra Pro!  Yeah, for gear in the offseason!  I hope this isn’t a tease and I won’t see it again for 3 months.  That’d suck.

Feverishly working on my weak points in the offseason, and the rest of the team as well.  Check out their training here: Lowcountry Strength’s powerlifting.

The idea of the offseason is to work on weak points.  Well, I’m weak in the gear.  Specifically straps up when we’re talking about squatting.  So that’s what we did today.

Day 2 of 4:

comp stance squat 6×2 rpe8 gear (555, 575, 595, 615)

A. Ghr 4×8

B. Pull-ups 6×6 weighted

C. Walking lunges 4×20 steps light load

D. Abs 10 mins

I’ve been working on a bit lower bar placement.  This has helped me work on sitting back a bit more. It’s murder on my wrists and elbows though.  Need to work on it but overall I wasn’t disappointed with today.  Not happy by any stretch.  This weight shouldn’t be this challenging.  It looked easy enough on video but felt way worse.  I’m more in a habit of listening to my body rather than looking at the video.
