18 Jul LCS: transitioning out of off season

Off season is quickly coming to a close.

The whole LCS team is in off season right now. There are a couple meets coming up in the fall that have caught our attention. We’ll transition more into meet prep later but for now it’s all off season work for us.

Doing some full gear technique work. It's always surprising when RAWng folks think the gear does all the work for you. Unless you can use it well, it's more of a fight in the gear than a help. #lowcountrystrength #squat #deadlift #inzer #lup #powerrackstrength #1020life #captainjacked

Most of LCS is finishing up their boring (but necessary!) off season stuff. As we make the transition soon into meet-prep we’re going to include a few more geared days and some well planned fun days as well.

My own training is still tweaking some technical gear stuff. Got a pretty good squat/dead session in and seeing some progress.

Squats were 6 sets of 555 in full gear.

Deads were 6 singles at 500 in full gear followed up with 405 for 5 technique driven singles.
