28 Apr LCS Week 7, Session 2
There are 3 meets that members of Lowcountry Strength are currently training for. APF Equipped Nationals on May 29th, RPS Backyard Brawl, June 4th, and RPS Kalamazoo Barbell Bash June 11th. If you follow along, training for the group is posted but understand that I make adjustments on a daily basis for individuals and those specifically training for meets. Since we follow the 10/20/Life protocol, each individual of LCS is given their own weak point training if it does not correspond to that posted.
My own training is going well. Squat/dead accessory days are brutal. Lots of pulling and back work. Lots of grip stuff too since I’ve managed to drop a deadlift in every meet for the past 3 years.
Barbell row: 5×5
DOH shrug: 5×5
Pause squat: 3×5 straight bar-355
Piston squat: 5×5 cambered bar-315
Walking lunge: 3×15 per leg
Chins: 3 sets to almost failure (I do 19 now to fly under Brian’s radar)
Stir the pot: 100
