LISA GUGGISBERG-3 WEEKS OUT

I recently competed at the RPS US Open in San Diego, CA where I totaled 903 raw in wraps.  I am currently getting ready for my first multiply meet on September 3 at the RPS South FL Conquest.

Wednesday Bench:

Very thankful Paul Key was able to come over and help me with bench this was my last real heavy day before the meet.

Warm up:

  • McGill Big 3
  • Side/Front raises
  • Bar 2 x 10

Work:

  • 65 x 10
  • 95 x 5
  • 135 x 3
  • 155 x 2
  • 185 x 1 Inzer SDP to 3 board
  • 225 x 1 to 2 board
  • 255 x 1 to 2 borad
  • 275 x 1 to 2 board
  • 300 x 1 to 2 board

Paul played around with shirt and made some adjustments that gave me a little more tricep.  Everything felt good.

Saturday Squat/deadlift:

Warm up:

  • McGill Big 3
  • Goblet squats
  • Bar 2 x 10

Squat Work:

  • 155 x 5
  • 205 x 3
  • 225 x 3
  • 245 x 1 briefs on
  • 305 x 1
  • 315 x 1 LUP Suit on
  • 335 x 1
  • 365 x 1
  • 405 x 1
  • 440 x 1
  • 470 x 1 RB (didn’t open up or sit back enough and couldn’t push to depth)

Deadlift Work:

  • 135 x 3
  • 225 x 2
  • 315 x 1
  • 350 x 1

I’ve been having a rough deadlift cycle.  I started off in LUP with sumo stance.  I was slow off the floor. Took suit off and pulled in briefs only and will probably pull briefs only for the meet.
