I am currently about 3 weeks out from the RPS US Open in San Diego, CA where I will be competing in the 114lb weight class raw with wraps.


Deload week. I enjoy deload week because it gives me a chance to have a little fun with my accessory work.


Wednesday Bench work:

  • Flat DB Bench work: Worked up to 70lbs for 4×8
  • Cable fly 3×12
  • Hammer strength decline press 4×10-12
  • Dips 4×15
  • Tricep push downs 4×12-15 with partials for burnout
  • Driggers press 3×15
  • McGill big 3
  • Stir the pots x 200


Thursday Accessory work:

  • Pull ups 4×20
  • Single arm KB 4×20 each arm
  • Barbell curls 3×12-15 with partials for burnout
  • Explosive push-ups 5×10
  • McGill big 3

I’ll be taking openers and potential second attempts this week.

She is currently ranked the #1 female multi-ply lifter at 123, #2 at 114 multi-ply female and #3 raw with wraps. Lisa has a B.A. in Political Science and a Masters in Public Administration, but hates politics and political debates. She is a mom of two, a firefighter wife and has worked as a full time litigation paralegal for almost 20 years.
