05 Jul Lisa Guggisberg- Deload & Adventures in Little League Travel Ball
I just finished the RPS Redemption meet in Fort Meyers on May 30th where I totaled 840 at 114lbs. I am currently in offseason and preparing for the 2016 XPC Finals at the Arnold.
My schedule has been really busy the last month due to my son’s travel baseball team. The team won regionals and were lucky enough to travel to Sarasota, FL for the state tournament. My life has been consumed with practices and games. I have been fitting in training when I can. I have been running sprints at his practices on empty fields and training later at night.
This past weekend we were in Sarasota, FL for the state tournament. I was surrounded by a team of six year old boys all staying at the same hotel, that alone was exhausting. We got a chance to catch a game at the Pittsburg Pirates minor league team, the Marauders and had a great time. It was great watching the boys get so excited watching the minor league team play. The timing was great because it was my deload week. I was able to get in my bench and accessory work at a LA Fitness we found close to the hotel.
