SQUAT WORK

McGill Big 3

Goblet squats

Worked up to my opener squat this weekend at 350# not my best 350 but it moved. Hips are super tight and I was struggling to hit dept.  Nothing a trip to the chiro and some mobility work won’t fix.  Feeling pretty beat up and rundown which just means I’m ready.

DEADLIFT WORK

Worked out of the house and had to use the shitty $50 Sears special bar for deadlifts . Just worked up to last warm up of 315#. Moved well and happy with it.

I’ll hit my bench opener on Wednesday and then I won’t touch a bar until the meet.

Pretty excited for the meet and trying to keep my mind occupied so I don’t become my worst enemy and over think things between now and the meet. Beautiful weather this weekend so I spent some time at the beach with the fam relaxing.  Looks like it might snow in Ohio for the Arnold.  Not sure how this Florida girl will deal with that.
