Lisa Guggisberg-Offseason Week 4

I am currently in offseason.  My next two meets will the XPC at the Arnold and the Women’s Pro Am.

Saturday Squat and Deadlift work

Warm up:

  • McGill big 3
  • Goblet squats

Threw on briefs and a light knee wrap this week after talking with Brian and Adam.  I really need to work on sitting back.  Not executing this killed me at my last meet.

Worked up to 3 x 2 at 305# these felt really good.

Deadlifts

2″ sumo deficits

  • 135 x 3
  • 185 x 3
  • 225 x 2
  • 255 x 2
  • 275 3 x 3 these moved well but felt awful as sumo deficits should feel.
