Lisa Guggisberg Week 10 Offseason-Squats and Deadlifts

I recently competed at the RPS US Open where I totaled 903lbs at 114 raw with wraps.  I am currently in offseason mode.  My next meet will be September 3, 2016 where I will go multiply for the first time.


My son’s baseball schedule is killing me.  Had to rearrange my usual days that I squat/DL due to baseball.


Friday Squats and Deadlifts

Warm up:

  • McGill Big 3
  • Goblet squats
  • Bar 2 x 20

Squat Work

Box Squats:

  • 95 x 5
  • 135 x 5
  • 185 x 3
  • 225 x 3
  • 255 x 3

Inzer Predator Briefs.  No box.

  • 275 x 3
  • 315 2×3 (RPE 6)

Deadlift Work

  • 135 x 5
  • 225 x 3
  • 275 x 3
  • 305 x 3×2 Inzer Fusion DL Suit (RPE 6)

Raw Block pulls:

Worked up to 275 for 3×5

I did hit a personal PR this week of girlyness.  I got my hair done, claws filed and painted and eyebrows pruned.  Trying out this girl thing.

Lisa has a B.A. in Political Science and a Masters in Public Administration, but hates politics and political debates. She is a mom of two, a firefighter wife and has worked as a full time litigation paralegal for almost 20 years.
