Got 10/20 2nd addition today. Just curious as to using the jumbo template for equipped lifting. To much on one day?
Chris- The jumbo training is generally only recommended for the off-season, where you wouldn’t be wearing much gear if any at all.
Let’s say you had a major time constraint though and had to use the jumbo style, just didn’t have much of a choice. I wouldn’t go fully geared up on all three lifts. I’d set it up like this:
Week 1- SQ/DL heavy, in gear. Bench for a little more volume, raw and maybe even a floor press from time to time to take stress off my back.
Week 2- SQ/DL lighter, probably buffalo bar on the squat, block pull for DL. Heavy Bench in gear.
Week 3- Deload
And so on…
