29 Jun Byrd 10 weeks out!
Finally broke the 2,500 total mark at the Arnold, but like any lifter I feel there is more left in the tank. Focusing on some offseason goals which include gaining some weight to fill out the 275 class, improving my bench, adjusting some form issues on the squat, and adding more upper back size. The next 8 weeks will focus on raw work and speed. I feel like if I can get those things accomplished I will be looking at another PR total come meet time.
[wa-wps]I had to get my squats in a little early this week as I went out of town for my birthday. As of now I am 10 weeks out from an RPS meet in south Florida ran by Burt and Mindy Underwood. I always enjoy their meets and the quality of the events. I have some high expectations, just need to stay healthy and keep training!
Squats: I attempted to widen my stance a little just to see how it felt. I have not been in gear really during my offseason so its a process feeling things out to see what I like and wont like now.

Everything felt easy and smooth but having some abductor and groin issues. Good news is that I am in a deload so I will have to some to get healthy before next weeks squats.
