04 Feb Byrd- 810 1board Bench
Currently working my way down in weight to lift in the 275 class at the XPC Finals. Looking to improve on my all-time best lifts of 1040, 725, and 730lbs. Well last weeks bench completely sucked ass! 765 off the 2board was all I could handle and it damn near killed me. I was determined not to let one bad week screw over my training. This week the plan was to work everything down to the one board. I want to feel comfortable down around my chest in the shirt, I don’t want it to be a shock on meet day.

I will say that my back is toast! I feel beat up and worn down, but there is a plan in place! I will get some quality rest and recovery this week and next Saturday I will take the biggest squats of the cycle.
