
10 May Byrd: Gear Whore Blues
Just a gear whore who is enjoying some raw training. Bodyweight is steady, and finally getting healthy. No meets in the future, but with me that could change any minute!

Working towards the end of this training block and things are on the right track. Did a top set of 3 in the bench and what was should have been a top set of two but didn’t go how I expected.

I have no real goal with my raw bench, but as its climbing I have some ideas. I would like to beat my best raw bench since the pec tear (I think its only 430) and then change my focus some. As long as I stay healthy this shouldn’t be an issue, but with my pec you never know!
Squat Day
The goal was to take a top set of 2 at 650-675 based on how I felt that day. Things were great warming up, but of course that can change in just one set.

The goal was to double the 675 but I felt some pain in my groin and shut it down. There is some blood in it today, but I will be fine after a deload. Looking forward to taking into the 700s over the next few weeks!
