21 Apr Byrd: Rawing
Finally a month after the Arnold I feel up to training! My body took a beating during the weekend and really just had to rest my pec. Put that with catching up on life and my training hasnt been real impressive. Now its time to focus on getting stronger and then eventually making some meet plans.
[wa-wps]With multiple teammates getting ready for the APF Seniors here in Jacksonville mid June, I thought I would tag along with training. I wanted to have some fun with training and push the numbers to a moderate % while they prep. I doubt I take a max, and have no intentions of doing the meet. I simply feel like it will be nice to see what type of numbers can happen wearing sleeves.
Squat
Top set of 3 at 515 approx 70%
Deadlift
Top set of 3 at 495 approx 70%
Bench does not follow the same percentages due to my injury history. I will stay doing some lighter weights and volume here.
2×8 @ 275 using the swiss bar
3×5 pause bench at 225
100 band push downs
Fluff day
3×8 one arm row
3×8 lat machine
3×8 lat pull down
3×25 leg extensino
3×10 hamstring curl.
