Byrd: Welcome to the Gun Show!

Eventually I will get enough balls to post a pic of where my body sits currently. If you have read my article on my weight loss, then you know that I have been working now for nearly a year to get my bodyweight down. My weight started at a high of 323, and currently sitting about 260lbs. I have set the goal to get off as much fat as I can and rebound carrying as much muscle as possible to lift in the 275 class. I have put my trust in both Brian and Scott to help me reach my goals.

This day would normally be an upper back focus day, but with my bicep still recovering from the partial tear I am avoiding any rowing motions for another two weeks. Other than my bicep I feel great, obviously my strength is down some but that tends to happen after a meet plus the addition of the weight loss. Yesterday’s fluff and buff session went like this!

McGill Big 3
Goblet squats 3×8
Kb Swings 3×8
Seated Arnolds 4×15
4 sets of 50, 40, 30, then 25 reps of standing hammer curls superset with band push downs.
I was also suppose to do seated dumbbell cleans, but one I had no idea what they were and two, that would get me kicked out of the gym by Adam haha! Sorry Scott!

The high rep direct arm work was much different than I had done recently. It has been a good change and I am enjoying it so far!
