06 Jan Jonathan Byrd Bench 9 Weeks from XPC Finals
Currently working my way down in weight to lift in the 275 class at the XPC Finals. Looking to improve on my all-time best lifts of 1040, 725, and 730lbs. This is the 3rd week of the training cycle for me. I have made great progress with Paul Key developing a plan for me in the past, and I trusted him again this cycle. At times it is important for me to have an outside perspective on what I am doing. I have the tendency to push myself too hard, that is just my nature.

I feel like I have been ran over by a truck today. I am taking in as much protein as I can this morning to try and break this dead feeling. I did get a solid 7 hours of sleep last night so that helped, but heavy lockout work kicks my ass!
