09 May LCS 5 Weeks Out, Fluff and Buff
Lowcountry Strength has started meet prep for the upcoming RPS Backyard Bash in NC on June 9th. Lots of different things going on right now. The team is progressing well through the prep while I’m working with Zane Geeting for my training. Pretty cool to see quite a few different things happening for all the folks here.
I realized this was my 5th training session in 8 days. Not ideal at all. I had already squatted twice and benched in the shirt twice. I was trashed. My schedule had gotten really out of hand and I was doing the best I could. I hit all my numbers but by the time this day rolled around I knew I had to cut it back.
Incline DB press-3×10
Seated DB OHP-3×10
Barbell row- 3×10
KB Swings – 3×10
Barbell shrugs- 3×15
Band pull apart- 100 total reps
JL planks- 3 sets
I ended up cutting the weight nearly in half on all the movements just to be on the safe side.
