30 Apr Lisa Guggisberg-Offseason Squats
I am currently in offseason mode rebuilding some raw strength and working on some weak points. I plan on doing a raw meet sometime in the fall or winter.
[wa-wps]Warm Up:
- McGill big 3
- Goblet squats
- Bar 2 x 10
Got out of the comfort of my garage and squatted at the local globo gym. Have I mentioned I LOVE people watching.
This week called for an AMRAP of RPE squats 8-9
I think I might have sandbagged my first set so Todd ended up making me do another set. So I ended up with 2 sets of 6 at 275#
I’m ok with this, other than being a lazy sandbagger.
Finished off the session with some sets on the belt squat with pauses at the bottom.
I am taking a little down time right now as I recover from some minor surgery so I’ll be doing some walking and when cleared by the doctor I’ll ease back into things. Still no meet picked out yet. I’m looking for the right one and the right time.
