I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on the Fusion deadlift suit. I seem to get absolutely no pop out of it, when I have the straps up they don’t seem to pull me through the lift at all, and I just get a ton of pressure from the seam at the bottom of the leg on top of my quad. I’ve had success in a Metal King Deadlifter (683 is my best meet pull) in the past. For reference its a double ply suit that’s only been worn twice. Below are links to the 2 sessions. I did try it sumo as I use to pull sumo but due to hip issues its not the long term solution for me and it had a bit more go.
Hello,
I would suggest adjusting your head position for you as you are looking down.. But concerning your suit issue, it doesn’t appear you are loading the suit properly and getting adequately tight.
Maybe you are fatigued? I don’t know what your current programming looks like and what you’ve been doing the last month or 2.
The art of equipped lifting takes time to dial in. What I would suggest is using lighter weight, with tight straps instead of getting near 80-90% and putting the straps up. Use 400 range and practice your set-up and explosion.
Let us know how it works.
Thank you
