is fluff and buff primarily for bench work? The criteria for the day is under 30 minutes so I cant imagine you want to pre exaust arms and legs with 2-3 movements and then squat and bench in under 3 minutes. Im gathering this is for extra blood work in chest, back and arms to help with bench for a lot of lifters. Just making sure.
Simple answer, yes. Here’s how I set it up.
Day 1- SQ/DL
Day 2- Bench
Day 3- Lower Accessories
Day 4- Upper fluff/accessories
This follows how Brian wrote out the combo style of training. Same thing if you squat and pull on separate days, the fourth day is still an upper fluff workout. You are correct in your thinking- keep it quick, light and just focus on getting your blood pumping.
Correct. Naturally, when following a specific 10/20 split that I lay out (which you don’t have to do) I would suggest using it for your secondary upper day/bench day/recovery day, since most of the templates and people who use 10/20 have 2 lower body days just by default. It wouldn’t make sense to have 3 lower body days and only 1 upper body day- being bench day, would it?
