13 Jul Traveling, eating like shit while traveling, and planning out things for the future growth of ASHMAN
[wa-wps]The last two weeks have been quite hectic for me and I put my training into maintain mode before I shift into strictly bodybuilding-type training for who knows how the fuck long.
I ventured into KC, traveled to Minnesota for Relentless to handle my brother from another mother, Dan. Both weekends were superb in every way but it was nice to come back home into my routine of gym, clients, eating normally, and sleeping in my own bed. The worst part about traveling is eating. There is little possible way to eat anything remotely healthy for a period of time when you have no access to a kitchen. After this weekend in MN, I can say I was ecstatic to eat normal food.
Now that normalcy has returned to my life, I am back to training.
Since the last few weeks have been a hectic mess I am following a rudimentary bodybuilding split for now before I get a plan together.
Monday is chest and shoulders
Tuesday is legs
Thursday will be a dedicated back day
Friday is arms and shoulders
Once I have time to sit down and formulate a plan of attack, I will share it with you.
I am at the stage in my life where coaching takes precedence over myself. With the time spent in the gym and the limited time I have to spend on my own training I need something that gives me a lot of work in a limited window.
I will be making my log into a client log as well, because I work with numerous competitors at BrewHouse Barbell and they deserve the spotlight over me as I shift into coach mode. I will update my own training but they will hold a prominent place with videos, workouts, what they are doing next, where they are heading to compete at, and progress pics.
I firmly believe in community, teamwork, brotherhood, sisterhood, and family amongst the iron… it is their time to shine and my time to stand on the sidelines and watch them celebrate.
