Tucker: Deload and IHOP

After last weeks shenanigans I was beat.  When I finally let my body rest it went into full rest mode. I took a few days off but even when Sunday came around I was still feeling really grouchy and foggy headed. I still have almost a month to go and I know that kind of feeling isn’t productive that far out, so I gave Noel a call to talk. He said to get a cheat meal in and go light for a couple days…. I was so excited for the food I literally felt butterflies in my stomach and I started scheming on the things that I wanted. I have an IHOP down the street and I haven’t had pancakes in forever, so that was the go to. I got an order of pancakes and French toast, and I got a couple cookies at the store to finish it off.

I felt way better that day and the next, and I got back at it in the gym pretty light just to move some blood around for a couple days, and then back at it as of today.

My bodyweight was down around 193 or so, and for a couple days post cheat meal I was up to 197. My muscles definitely looked fuller and I was filling out my shirts more, but I was also holding some extra water under the skin, especially on my back, hams and glutes… Hams still look decent though despite the extra water, so some progress was made while resting. After a few more workouts the water will get flushed out and I’m excited to see where I’ll be at!
