Whats the Deal with SBD Sleeves?

sbd

I am an equipped lifter, I love lifting in gear, but you can not spend all year lifting in your equipment. I got my first and only pair of SBD sleeves just over a year ago. Over that time I have used those every squat session, either during my main movement or during my auxiliary work.

See what most of you don’t know is that my time playing football was ended by a knee injury. I completely tore my acl, mcl, and both meniscus in my right knee. For that reason I am very cautious of my knee, and use some sort of protection at all times.

So my thoughts? Well I have put them through hell over the last year. We train in a non air conditioned gym in north Florida, so you can imagine the amount of sweat my fat ass has dripped in them. 1 year in, no rips, no runs, and still fit tight.

Carry over? Well that I can not answer 100% truthfully. I have never pushed near a max with them, but I can say that I feel much stronger and my knees feel better with them.

Worth the money? There is no doubt in my mind they are worth the money, in fact half of the guys at Team Samson wear them. That in itself says a lot about a product.
