Zane Geeting, Tuesday night deload before the meet

I’m currently training to make my comeback to the platform for the XPC finals at the Arnold Classic. I’ll be doing Dan Dalenberg’s meet, here in MI this weekend as a tune-up. As of right now it looks like I’ll be doing raw deadlift only.

This was to be my deadlift accessory week. Since I’ll be pulling heavy this weekend, I kept things really light. As of right now I’m worried about how this weekend will go, as my lower back all jammed up and causing all kinds of issues with my right glute and leg. I’ll be going to get adjusted tonight, then resting ’til the meet comes. Hopefully that will do the trick.

Here’s what I did last night:

A few light sets of all the following movements:

Bird dogs

McGill’s

Glute bridges

BW squat

Pulldowns

Rack rows

DB shrugs

Neck machine

DB curls

– These were all done very light, just to get some blood flowing and aid in recovery. Tonight (Wed) I’ll be going to the chiro to get stretched out and adjusted. Hopefully that does the trick for me. I’ll throw in an update about how I’m feeling before the meet rolls around this weekend.
