I recently competed at the XPC Arnold at 114 in multi-ply division. I am currently in offseason mode focusing on building back some raw strength and looking to do a raw meet sometime in the fall/winter.

Saturday Squats and Deadlifts

Death by volume:

So Tucker Loken and I came up with a plan to do a short 4 week mini block with a goal at the end to hit a 5 rep max.  Gives me something goal wise to look forward to as I tend to train better when I have a solid goal in mind.

Warm Up:

  • McGill Big 3
  • Goblet Squats
  • Bar 2 x 10

Squat Work:

  • 95 x 5
  • 135 x 5
  • 155 x 6
  • 185 x 6
  • 205 x 6
  • 225 x 6
  • RPE 7

Deadlift Work:

All defict Sumo Stance off 2″ Blocks

  • 135 x 6
  • 185 x 6
  • 205 x 6
  • 225 x 6

Accessory Work:

  • Bulgrian split squats 4 x 15
  • leg press 4 x 8-12
  • Weighted lunges 4 x 12 each leg
