Brian Carroll Offseason Week 7, day 2 Bench

I just finished competing at the XPC Arnold Finals 3/7/15 where I totaled 2610@242 and won the overall. I did not achieve ALL of my goals but I’m still happy with the results, not content.

I am registered to compete in August at the RPS Meet in NJ, but first guest lifting at the RPS Ft. Myers meet May 30, followed by a Seminar on Sunday, May 31. Register HERE!

The plan for summer is to take my heavy weeks while home, and working raw and in briefs while gone on the road. Too many distractions while traveling to ensure that I’ll be on point and have all I need to go over 1k on the squat.

NEXT SEMINAR UP: Long Island, NY June 6!. You can sign up HERE

This spring, summer, AND fall, Team PRS will be covering a good bit of the United States doing SEMINARS AND CLINICS so make sure to check our schedule to see if I’ll be near you! If you are interested in having our team come to you, contact me here: briancarroll.lmt@gmail.com.

Monday, bench day!

Normal Warm-up:
Birddogs
KB swings
Pushups

Training:
Band fly: 3×20
Band Skull: 3×20
Incline DB press: 5×10
Feet elevated CG bench: 3×5
Explosive push-up: 5×5
Bench Dip: 3×15
Band press-down: 3×15
Cable Press-down: 3×15

Mainly some BB work! Felt good to get it in though as I’m working on building some chest mass and giving myself a break from arching on bench and beating my shoulders up too bad.

I will return to a normal style BB block in June as I will transition into a more hybrid offseason then into a precomp phase for a the August meet!

I’m not an endorser with Inzer once again. Inzer has always been good to me and I worked with him from about 2006 to 2010. Great guy and great gear! Be on the lookout for a lot of product updates as well as what our team is experimenting in and liking.

I will be sponsoring our equipped lifters with Inzer gear as well. It will be the ONLY equipment company we endorse on PRS.
