15 Apr Brian Carroll Update #4 and a very cool video
[wa-wps]I recently competed in the XPC Finals this March where I won but didn’t have a huge day by any means. Right now I’m laying low and have no plans to compete at this time.
Big thanks to CaptainJacked.com and Inzernet.com for supporting TeamPRS and PowerRackStrength.com!
Quite a few new items coming to PRS in the coming weeks including hats – stay tuned!

OK, not too much has changed in the last few weeks other than I’ve cleaned up my diet to about 90% on point and have been easing into keto. Ria, my wife, makes some really good keto waffles and other Keto treats. She really really LOVES the diet.
Maybe not as much as the Vega’s but shes totally on board and it works great for her. She’s always on the run with her Job as a real estate agent and business owner, so grabbing a burger in a lettuce wrap is right up her ally and fits perfectly with her diet. Me and keto? I’m going to do it for a bit then get back to a more balanced diet but more on this soon! Look for an article.
The Keto diet is certainly something that I suggest people in time crunch/shortages do if trying to tighten up, lose weight or get on track. Everyone likes a burger. If you don’t, then sorry. Oh, and I love ice-cream and I finally gave in and tried halo-top. Admittedly, I am slow to try new things but I’m glad I did give this a try.
Now, it’s not the real deal, but it’s some pretty intense dry-humping if you ask me. I suggest the peanut butter one. Pretty impressive but I always use caution – don’t be surprised if one if not both examples come out about this halo stuff – 1. it ends up being worse for you than anthrax and/or 2. It has 1000kcal instead of the claimed 300-ish. The latter would be more likely as we have seen in so many cases.
My bodyweight has been all over the place but is now settling in the 260’s. Really, it’s been all over the place.
My focuses lately have been 100% on McGill/Carroll book – “The gift of injury” which we are getting close on and getting other things in order with new swag, hats and such. This is going to be a matter of days before these new items are live.
As far as the book – I should have a real update for you over the next month but it’s a good thing I’m not training for anything, or training at all for that matter!
Every day, I go for a mile walk and do my McGill big 3. Like I said, I’ll have a plan soon, when I get a few of these projects out of the way! NO weights, NO chins/pullups or anything. Just some core work and walking. It’s been a great change.
Anyway, it’s been MOSTLY work but a few other things have kept me busy lately. Check out this very cool short by Pennzoil. Make sure to have the audio turn’t up.
