Now that I have a few Saturday’s at home, I’m going to run a 3-week mini-cycle until I go out of town for Exos in PHX, early November. You can still register for the event at EXOS to see me and other great speakers!
Week 3, day 1 – Squat/DL training Week 1 was triples,
last week was doubles, so this week we final week of the 3-week wave is singles. Check out how it went:
Normal warm-up, no matter what…..
SSB squat:
Top set of 525×1 – RPE 7
Deadlift from 4″ blocks:
Top set of 705×1 – RPE 8-ish
Belt squat: 3×8
Bottoms up and suitcase carry: 50 yards x 4 trips.
Rolling planks to finish!
End of the cycle shaped up nicely! I ended up where I wanted to and everything felt light. For the next 3 week mini-cycle, I will work to beat these numbers in the same sequence.
I will deload week 4, then get back to it as I travel this weekend.
