I missed Saturday’s training due to travel to and helping Byrd, Lisa, Jason, and others at the RPS Meet ran by Bert and Mindy. I’ll do a write-up on the meet in the coming days after I return to from Miami seminar at Battle Ax Gym. Mike aka MDLP has been a client of mine for about 7 months and has a similar experience with pain back as I do. He’s pain-free but learning how hard being patient can be, while not returning too fast to competition like I discuss in Gift of Injury. I’m looking forward to working with him and his gym this weekend at The Battle ax gym.

So let’s get to Monday:

Normal 4 part 10/20/Life warm-up

Back outside to the floor presses–
Floor press: 4×4 – 275 RPE 6
Incline DB press: 4×10
Flat DB press: 4×10
DB skull variation: 4×10
Band fly: 3×10
Triceps press-down SS bench dips: 3×10

Good training session. I was super bloated from the weekend’s pizza but felt pretty good. Other than the Pizza and some junk Sunday, I’ve been eating 100% on target. I’ll be working up in floor press over the next few weeks but what sucks my squat/DL training will be shotty again with travel.

I’ll be better about this very soon as I’ll have less travel!

And this BRUTAL video…
