LCS Week 6, Benching things

Fat bar work this week.  Keeping things easy on the elbows to try and get a good session in next week before a deload.

 

Lowcountry Strength is currently in our off season training.  Lots of different things going on right now.  I’ve moved the group into a higher volume phase while I’m working with Zane Geeting for my training.  Pretty cool to see quite a few different things happening for all the folks here.

Scheduled to do 70% for 15 reps.  Ended up doing 16.

Got up to 245 did my first set of 3, next set at 4 and just finished the rest out at 3 reps.  Shown is the one set of 4 reps.

Swiss bar inclines:

3×5 at 185

Dips: 4×10

bw, +25, +45, +25

Side laterals and pull aparts

 

I know things are going well when I can do dips without pain.  That’s one of the first indicators that my elbows are getting fed up when I can’t do dips.  Things are feeling pretty good so I’m excited to get back in the shirt next week.
