Brian Carroll Offseason Week 6, day 2 & 3

I just finished competing at the XPC Arnold Finals 3/7/15 where I totaled 2610@242 and won the overall. I did not achieve ALL of my goals but I’m still happy with the results, not content.

I will compete in August at the RPS Meet in NJ, but first guest lifting at the RPS Ft. Myers meet!

The plan is to take my heavy weeks while home, and working raw and in briefs while gone on the road. Too many distractions while traveling to ensure that I’ll be on point and have all I need to go over 1k on the squat.

Good sessions so far this week.

I know I glossed over the weekend without saying too much in depth. It was a great weekend but I don’t always say how the team is really most of my best friends and weekends like last are why I love powerlifting.

It also happened to be a year to the day that my Friend passed away. There reason why things fell together the way they did. I think about him and this often.

I should probably make that clear pretty often.

DONE

I’m feeling great and ready to get after it a bit. I’ll be getting my shit together and in order over the next 3 weeks and really start pushing in June.

I let myself get out of shape pretty bad but it’s part of the game. I play, and I paid. BUT this is my training log so you know the good and the bad.

Aside from my Right hip being tight, my body feels great. I should have a productive offseason and a PR meet in August.

Body weight is decent now: 263 and needs to keep coming down. I’m not very lean.

I have a deadlift meet in 3 weeks. Time to do a little prep for that also!
