I’m 255 sometimes cut to 242 sometimes lift 275. I need a new shirt but not sure if I want to get my friends used black stiff shirt or a older red or navy blue one that is more bendy and flexable.
What does your team perfer and suggest for my size? I can get a 64 or a 62 fyi
Ultimately, it will come down to preference. The black is stiffer, which some people like. The navy blue is stretchier, which I personally prefer as I find it easier to touch in. Both variations are great options, just depends on what kind of shirt you like.
As for size, 62-64 is much too big. I compete at about 250 body weight and wear a 54 with pinched sleeves (54 chest, 52 sleeve) in the navy material. I am going to try a straight up 52 next.
I’d like for Brian and/or Byrd to weigh in on sizing as they have much more experience than me in these shirts and will be able to give you some good perspective. I think you’d be swimming in a 62-64.
Sizing maybe be slightly different depending on how old the shirts are. To put into perspective I wore a 54 chest plate and a 58 sleeve on my last shirt. Before that I was in a 58 black material shirt. I weigh in the 280s.
