Team Samson Powerlifting- 1/29-2/4 training

[wa-wps]

This week puts the team about 3 weeks from the Arnold. This is when the training and the environment at he gym get the most intense. Brian went to just over 1000, Clint hit a super easy 680 raw with wraps, and Lisa hit 480 in full gear. And this is only the beginning of the training week!

Byrd called in sick this Monday. That means he’ll have to push it pretty hard these up coming weeks, but things have been rolling like a freight train for him, so I don’t see this holding him back at all. With that being said training is still here. Tonight  Brian was working in a newer shirt, and lit looks like it the shirt for him. Everything moved very fast. He took 870 to a 2 board and 760 to one board. It all moved like a feather. Channing, was also in the gym crushing things as well the is a little more than 4 weeks  out from a meet at this point. He got into taking singles with a top set of 420. Keith Price has also been putting it down lately. Hands down the best handler in the game, he isn’t a bad lifter either. He topped out at 350 for some singles.
